Bio

Brianna Ligotski is a senior physical therapist in the Kaiser Permanente outpatient physical therapy department in Stockton, California. She graduated from the University of the Sciences in 2016 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Health Sciences and then from the same in 2018 with a Doctorate in Physical therapy and minor in Psychology. She completed the Kaiser Permanente Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program in 2019 and then became an ABPTS Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2020. Brianna has been involved as a faculty mentor in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California neurologic physical therapy residency program since 2021. Her minor in psychology gives her a unique insight into the various rehabilitation challenges of patients with neurologic and vestibular impairments. Outside of work, Brianna remains a competitive runner on the trails, roads, and track from her days as a cross-country athlete at University of the Sciences. She has qualified for the Boston Marathon but hopes to continue improving upon her marathon personal records to get accepted to run Boston in the next few years. She also enjoys living in her “indoor jungle” with her cat and hundreds of houseplants, understanding that having patience as a virtue is key not just for the success of her plants but for her patients as well. Brianna is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor (ACCI) Level II.
