Proud Sponsor Of PT Gap
Kaiser Permanente Neurologic Residency program has joined to sponsor the Physical Therapy Global Access Project – PT GAP.
PT GAP is non-profit and founded in 2015 by the Texas Woman’s Doctor of Physical Therapy class of 2017. The idea behind PT GAP is to provide physical therapy services to underserved areas of the community both domestically and abroad. Their mission is to bridge the gap between healthcare and the community.
They are currently volunteering at an assisted living facility in Cusco, Peru, providing much-needed physical therapy to children with physical and mental disabilities.
Please visit their website at ptgap.org to find out more about them and how to support their cause.
