When it gets into the windows phase there are no NIC drivers and TS fails… I’m no expert here, but doesn’t manually downloading it use http get commands, whereas Windows update may use some other protocol? Maybe find out which protocol WU uses and re-check firewall settings? I’m just guessing here, but it can’t hurt to find out. I think that part was obvious from the first post. The question is why the updates wouldn’t download.
